Kihaku Dojo Website

Welcome to our Kihaku Dojo website, dedicated to the martial art of Shotokan Karate Do, featuring a range of information - including several Kata videos - and a variety of links.

KIHAKU means "spirit and soul". The Kihaku Dojo, based in Billingshurst, West Sussex, has been established for over 20 years, producing many champions including World, International, National and Regional Champions in both Shobu-Ippon and WKF.

The Shobu Ippon Shotokan Open held on Saturday, 10th May 2008, at the Guildford Spectrum was a great success. There were 500 competitors representing around 20 organisations from the home nations of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, from Belgium and one competitor from the USA. It was a day buzzing with excitement, camaraderie and good will.

There was a Karate demonstration by Kihaku Dojo - Sensei Simon Staples, Matthew Corrall and Mike Lynch - which wowed the crowd (please see the video below).
